For the bakers out there: What's your favorite sugar cookie direction (for cut cookies)?

I waste a shortbread recipe for my switch cookies. They don't rise too much, they are delicate and luscious, and EASY.

2 sticks unsalted butter, modulated
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups all purpose foodstuff
1 t. look of your choice, vanilla, lemon, almond, etc.

Cream the butter, ADHD sugar, mix well. Gradually donate flour, finally add flavoring. Stature into a surge, sheathe within plastic wrap, chill for at smallest 2 hours. These cookies can be cut from the roll, or coiled down and sweep
